Meet Recap

Sparta girls shook things up for their last outing Saturday at the regional Cross Country meet in Gaylord. Freshman Rylie Bjorkman took her turn leading Sparta, and finished with a whopping 40 second PR! Go Rylie! Racheal Bolton came in next, followed by Ava Sousa. Jenna Murdock ran through some pain for a great finish, and Maddie Bennett followed closely on her heels. Kaitlyn Knowles and Sam Huizen rounded out Sparta’s varsity seven. Coach Buckner wants her whole team to know how proud she is to be their coach. Not only do they work hard, but they support and take great care of one another. This unified team has been a great joy to coach!
